My portraits come in a selection of sizes.  They are brought to life using the highest quality art supplies on beautiful Clairefontaine Pastelmat paper.

Below is the pricing for portraits featuring either one or two subjects on a colour gradient background. However, if you require more than two subjects, or would like a detailed background, I am happy to discuss options via email.

PORTRAIT PROCESS

1

BOOKING

Presently, orders are open for the April-June 2025 period. This means portraits will be commenced, completed, and dispatched within this timeframe. To secure your spot on the list, click the "Book Now" button below and get in touch. I'm keen to hear any ideas you may have for your portrait.

2

DEPOSIT & PAYMENT

To reserve your place on the waiting list, you'll need to make an initial deposit of 25%. Please note that this deposit is non-refundable, as it ensures your spot in my schedule, which may otherwise be filled by another client. Once you've secured your booking, you can supply me with the necessary photos and details for your portrait. The remainder of the full value (minus the deposit) can be paid prior to, or upon completion of your commissioned portrait.

3

REFERENCE PHOTOS

Once your deposit has been paid, I'll require some photographs of the subject, whether it's a dog, cat, horse, bird, etc. Providing multiple photos from various angles will greatly assist in capturing the subject's likeness. Please review the “photo guide” for instructions on the details necessary for me to ensure the best final product.

4

DESIGN

When it's your turn in the queue, I'll utilise the photos you've supplied to craft a mock-up, ensuring a visually appealing and feasible composition. I'll also tweak elements such as colours, eyes, and lighting to enhance the portrait's visual appeal. The mock-ups will be presented with a range of suggested background colours. If you wish to communicate and request a particular background colour, I'll ensure it is incorporated into the mock-ups.

5

PORTRAIT CREATION

Once the preferred mock-up has been agreed upon, I'll begin the production of the original artwork. If you've reserved your slot for a period such as June to August, this means the portrait will be initiated, completed, and dispatched within that allocated timeframe. It's important to note, however, that some portraits may require an extended timeframe. Artistic endeavours are often unpredictable and can vary in completion duration. Therefore, I find it beneficial to adhere to a 3-month deadline.

6

SHIPPING

Upon completion of the portrait I will send through notification and a photograph of the work with an attached invoice for the full cost minus the initial deposit amount.  Once payment is received I will personally sign the artwork before proceeding to package and ship it securely. Rest assured, the portrait will be meticulously packaged and protected for transit. Additionally, you will receive a signed and dated Certificate of Authenticity to accompany your one of a kind artwork.
