MORE THAN JUST A PORTRAIT- A larger than life, one of a kind conversation piece! Stunningly crafted tributes to the beloved pets who bring such joy to our lives. Discover the work of Australian based pastel artist Luke Goldfinch.

About Luke Goldfinch.
I am a pastel and pencil artist, based in the bass coast region of Victoria, Australia. Currently specialising in creating realistic pastel pet portraits. With over 13 years of experience as a courtroom sketch artist, and a lifetime of dedication to my craft, my work has been featured on all major Australian television networks and in various publications such as the Brisbane Times, Sydney Morning Herald and Pastel Journal.
One of my most interesting and challenging works was being commissioned by Cricket Australia to provide a graphite portrait series of the official Ashes test squad in 2017. The task of depicting so many subjects loved by millions the world over, within such a short timeframe, was unlike any I've undertaken. It was a privilege to be chosen for the task and an invaluable, rewarding experience.
In recent years I have combined my love of art and animals, particularly those we invite into our lives as pets and family members. It brings me joy and a great sense of purpose to capture a moment with those who have brought such happiness and colour to peoples lives, and to do so in a format that mirrors their place as one of a kind.
